Account Executive
Job Responsible
Handle daily accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP) and general ledger transactions.
Process supplier invoices, payment requests, staff claims, and ensure proper supporting documents and approvals are obtained.
Perform daily bank transactions and bank reconciliations, ensuring all payments are accurately recorded.
Prepare payment vouchers, online banking payments, and monitor payment status.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and ensure proper filing of financial documents.
Assist with month-end closing activities, including preparation of journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
Monitor outstanding payables and follow up with suppliers regarding invoices, statements, and payment discrepancies.
Assist in preparing monthly financial reports, schedules, and management reports.
Liaise with internal departments, suppliers, auditors, and other external parties on accounting-related matters.
Assist with audit, tax, and statutory requirements by providing relevant documents and accounting information.
Ensure accounting transactions are properly recorded and comply with company policies and accounting standards.
Perform other ad-hoc accounting and finance duties as assigned by the Finance Manager or superior.
Job Requirement
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience, particularly in Accounts Payable and bank reconciliation.
Good understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
Able to work independently as well as within a team.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
