Account Executive

Royal Institute consists of five schools operating under the name Royal Institute International School, along with a higher education division known as the Royal Institute of Colombo (RIC), an online teaching platform named the Royal Institute Smart Academy (RISA), a skills development unit called the Royal Institute Center of Skills (RICS), and a sports complex. With a history spanning over 40 years, Royal Institute is recognized as a trailblazer in the education sector, consistently delivering high-quality education to students.

Royal Institute is currently seeking a suitably qualified professional to join us as an Account Executive for our Nugegoda and Havelock Town Branches. This role is responsible for supporting the finance and accounting functions of the organization by maintaining accurate financial records, assisting in day-to-day accounting operations, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Record financial transactions in QuickBooks.
  
• Process Cheque payments in a timely and accurate manner.
  
• Handle IOUs and payment vouchers, ensuring accurate processing and documentation.
  
• Prepare varies report to management on monthly Basis.
  
• Prepare monthly EPF and ETF schedules for RI and RIC
  

Requirements

Requirements

• Graduated from Recognized University.

• Professional Accounting qualification (Part Qualified CIMA/CIM/CA or Qualified in AAT)

• 2-5 years of working experience in the accountancy field.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks is a must.

• Ability to work under minimal supervision.

• Proficient in computer skills, MS Office, and accounting software (QuickBooks).

• Ability to handle multiple assignments independently (invoicing / payment receipts / payment collection / banking correspondence).

• Excellent knowledge in financial reporting / ability to prepare management accounts.

• Excellent verbal & written communication skills in English.

• Good communication skills and ability to meet deadlines.
