Account Executive - Scenic
Location: Columbia, MD | Full Time | Pay Range: $60,146.75 - $72,465.96 per year (Based on experience and qualifications)

What You'll Do
Develop Client Solutions
- Meet with clients to understand event objectives, budgets, venue requirements, and scenic needs.
- Create proposals that include rental equipment, custom fabrication, labor, logistics, insurance, and billing considerations.
- Negotiate pricing within company guidelines and prepare formal quotations and contracts.
Build Long-Term Relationships
- Maintain ongoing communication throughout the sales cycle and project lifecycle.
- Respond to changing client needs by adjusting proposals and recommending solutions.
- Re-engage previous clients and develop new business opportunities through networking, outreach, and industry relationships.
Coordinate Project Execution
- Conduct site visits to verify venue requirements and confirm project feasibility.
- Partner with internal teams to communicate scope changes and project requirements.
- Serve as the primary liaison between clients and fabrication, production, and design teams.
Manage Contracts and Financial Performance
- Guide clients through contract commitments and deposit requirements.
- Coordinate equipment availability, substitutions, and cross-rental solutions while maintaining margin expectations.
- Prepare final project documentation and support collection of all contract balances.
What You Bring
- 3+ years of experience developing technical proposals within corporate meetings, trade shows, hospitality, event management, or a related industry.
- A demonstrated track record of closing sales and managing client relationships.
- The ability to balance client expectations, operational requirements, and financial objectives.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
