ABOUT INSPECTED
Inspected is a fast-growing, tech-enabled platform revolutionizing remote inspections and permitting for the construction industry. We serve homebuilders, HVAC, solar, roofing, pool, and commercial and residential contractors across Florida, Texas, and Tennessee — with new markets coming soon.
We are one of South Florida’s fastest-growing companies with 100% growth for three consecutive years. Our proprietary platform, Permit Hub, is transforming a process that once took months into one that takes days. This is a high-energy, high-growth environment where every team member makes a real and visible impact on our customers and our mission.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Account Executive – Texas Solar drives new business growth for Inspected in one of the fastest-moving residential solar markets in the country. Texas homeowners are adding solar and storage at a rapid pace, supported by the state’s property tax exemption, utility rebates, and retail buyback and net-metering plans that let families sell excess power back to the grid. Every one of those systems needs permits, inspections, and utility sign-off — and installers who wait weeks for them lose sales and cash flow.
This in-market role, based in Dallas, Houston, or Austin, owns the full sales cycle with Texas solar installers, EPCs, and the electrical, generator, roofing, and battery storage contractors who serve homeowners, showing them how Inspected’s Permit Hub and virtual inspection process turns a months-long permitting and inspection timeline into days.
The right person is a consultative, results-driven seller who knows the residential solar ecosystem, enjoys building a market from the ground up, and can translate faster permits and inspections into more installs and faster payback for their customers.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Pipeline & Territory Development
  • Build and execute a Texas territory plan, centered on your home metro and the surrounding market, focused on residential solar installers, EPCs, battery storage and generator contractors, and the roofing and electrical firms that serve them
  • Research target accounts across Texas metros, identify key decision makers, generate interest, and uncover each customer’s permitting, inspection, and interconnection pain points
  • Consistently achieve activity-based KPIs, including outbound outreach volume, meetings booked, and qualified opportunities created
  • Track and convert leads through the full sales funnel, meeting or exceeding monthly and quarterly goals
Consultative Selling & Market Expertise
  • Educate prospects on Inspected’s value proposition and virtual inspection solutions, tying faster permitting and inspections to more installs, faster project completion, and better cash flow
  • Stay current on Texas solar market conditions, including state and local incentives, utility buyback and net-metering programs, interconnection requirements, and jurisdiction-by-jurisdiction permitting practices
  • Adapt sales strategy and messaging as incentives, policy, and installer demand change, to improve win rates
  • Represent Inspected at Texas solar and construction industry events and build relationships with installer associations and local partners
CRM, Forecasting & Collaboration
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and detailed records of all sales activity in the company’s CRM to support forecasting, pipeline visibility, and performance reporting
  • Collaborate with Operations, Compliance, and Customer Service to communicate Texas market trends and customer challenges, and to ensure smooth onboarding of new solar accounts
  • Share feedback with leadership on what Texas solar customers need so Inspected can improve its offering
