Account Executive

JOB SUMMARY

The Account Executive (AE) supports the Client Services department in delivering best-in-class client experiences across traditional and digital channels. The AE ensures that all projects are executed In Full, In Spec, and On Time, while maintaining strong communication between clients and internal teams, Design, Creative, Digital, Production, and Media.

The AE works under the guidance of the Senior AE and supports the HOD, CS on strategic execution needs. The AE also has a dotted-line relationship with the Agency Operations Manager (AOM), who oversees workflow resourcing, task assignments, and operational delivery. This structure ensures that while the HOD, CS focuses on client strategy and satisfaction, the AOM drives day-to-day workflow efficiency across traditional and digital channels.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Client Support & Relationship Management

  • Act as the day-to-day client contact.
  • Provide timely, professional communication and ensure consistent follow-through on all requests in accordance with Agency standards.
  • Prepare agendas, recap notes, client updates, status reports, and presentation materials.
  • Build trust through accuracy, responsiveness, clarity, and proactive communication.

Project Execution & Workflow Coordination

  • Prepare accurate creative briefs (traditional + digital) and ensure alignment, clarity, understanding for self and client before routing internally.
  • Maintain agreed timelines, trackers, job jackets, content calendars, and status documents.
  • Coordinate with Agency Operations Manager for scheduling across all content types.
  • Follow up with Creative, Digital, Production, and Media teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
  • Flag delays, risks, or scope changes early- before client and project disruptions and propose feasible solutions.

Documentation, Administration & Systems

  • Maintain organized client folders, briefs, approvals, estimates, POs, and digital documentation.
  • Update project management tool (FP) daily.
  • Ensure all feedback, revision rounds, and asset versions are properly documented in a timely manner for project success and brand financial tracking.
  • Prepare project close-out reports, including digital performance summaries where relevant.

Quality Control

  • Review all work before submitting to internal team (HOD-CS, Senior AE, AOM) and clients, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and brand alignment.
  • Check that digital assets meet platform specifications (size, duration, captioning, safe zones).
  • Confirm message, tone, and style consistency across platforms and deliverables.
  • Ensure all final files meet client and internal quality standards.

DIGITAL RESPONSIBILITIES



Digital Content & Platform Coordination

  • Manage and update digital content calendars across platforms (IG, TikTok, YT, X, FB, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Coordinate with Creative & Digital teams on the production of platform-ready assets (static, stories, reels, short-form videos).
  • Upload and schedule content using approved tools (Meta Business Suite, Later, Hootsuite).
  • Ensure content follows digital best practices and platform-specific nuances.
  • Support community management by monitoring comments/messages and flagging key insights.


  1. Digital Reporting & Insights
  • Assist in gathering platform analytics and preparing client-friendly summaries.
  • Track performance of posts, reels, stories, paid/organic content, and digital activations.
  • Monitor competitor activity and wider platform trends; share weekly insights.
  • Flag emerging content trends and moments that may present real-time opportunities.


  1. Digital Strategy Support
  • Gather benchmarks, competitor examples, and category insights to support digital campaign planning.
  • Assist in preparing digital decks, including developing presentation frameworks (content structure, process flows, strategic models) and creating supporting materials such as visuals, handouts, and reference documents.
  • Partner with digital specialists or strategists to align content direction with brand objectives.
  • Ensure all digital deliverables connect back to the client's broader marketing strategy.


  • Digital Asset Coordination
  • Coordinate collection, review, approval, and delivery of all digital assets.
  • Document asset versions, adaptations, and usage restrictions.
  • Verify caption/copy accuracy and brand tone consistency.
  • Monitor readiness for channel release (tags, credits, CTAs, formats).

Collaboration With Internal Teams

  • Act as the communication bridge between Client Services and Creative, Digital, Production, and Media teams.
  • Attend internal kick-offs, reviews, and digital meetings.
  • Ensure internal stakeholders have clarity on requirements, KPIs, and deadlines.

Support for Account Growth & New Business

  • Identify opportunities for increased work (traditional + digital) and share with Snr AE/HOD, CS.
  • Assist in preparing creds decks, case studies, digital performance summaries, and pitch materials.
  • Support digital and traditional onboarding processes for new clients.

Client Satisfaction Support

  • Monitor client sentiment and feedback (including digital community responses).
  • Flag concerns quickly to senior team members and propose feasible solutions where applicable.
  • Support satisfaction check-ins and post-campaign follow-ups.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in an advertising, creative, or digital agency.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, formats, and best practices.
  • Experience using project management and social scheduling tools.
  • Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams across traditional and digital landscapes.
  • Detail-oriented with a high commitment to accuracy and follow-through.
  • Clear and proficient understanding of financial targets and margin management

WORK CONDITIONS



  • General office environment.
  • May be required to travel locally for client meetings or agency-related activities.
  • May be required to work overtime and weekends during major campaign periods, digital activations, or brand deadlines.
  • Fast-paced environment across traditional and digital workflows; may be required to work under pressure and manage multiple simultaneous deadlines.
