What You'll Do:

  • Provide high‑quality agronomic and technical advice to growers across the region.
  • Drive product sales both in‑store and on‑farm.
  • Build and maintain long‑term, trusted relationships with existing customers.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through superior agronomic insight and service.
  • Develop a deep understanding of each client’s operation, goals and seasonal requirements.
  • Share relevant technical, seasonal and market insights to improve farm productivity and sustainability.
  • Stay current with latest plant production practices and agronomic innovations.
  • Stay up to date with late digital tools and use them to ensure the best outcomes for your growers.
  • Coordinate and participate in field days, trials and farmer meetings, positioning yourself as a local subject‑matter expert.
  • Act as a go‑to agronomy advisor for cotton and broadacre inputs in the region.

What You'll Bring:

  • Proven experience as a trusted advisor in an agronomy‑focused role.
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Strong understanding of agronomic products, seasonal timing and grower requirements.
  • Demonstrated capability in sales planning, call cycle management and customer growth.
  • Excellent customer service, organisational and administrative skills.
  • Confident written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a high‑performing team.
  • Experience in agronomic advisory roles relating to agricultural chemicals and fertiliser.
  • Knowledge of horticultural agronomy (highly regarded, but not essential).
  • A tertiary qualification in Agricultural Science (or related discipline).
  • A current driver’s licence.
