Velocity Commercial Capital, LLC is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Velocity Financial, Inc, an NYSE-listed public company. Velocity Commercial Capital is a real estate finance company founded in 2004 that primarily originates and manages investor loans secured by 1-4 unit residential rental and small commercial properties. Velocity Commercial Capital is seeking to hire a Loan Processor who will act as a liaison for the account executives and brokers, as well outside vendors such as title, escrow, and insurance companies via phone and email. This is a full-time position and is located at the offices in Irvine, CA.

The ideal candidate for this position has loan processing experience and will be organized and very detail oriented.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Account Manager will act as a liaison for the Account Executive and Broker as well outside vendors such as title, escrow, and insurance companies via phone and email.

1. Work directly with brokers on conditions, documents, and questions.
2. Effectively manage pipeline of 50+ loans
3. Must be able to multitask and have a great attitude.
4. Proactively work to solve issues and provide solutions
5. Ensure excellent customer service is provided to internal and external partners.
6. Open loans & order appraisal in a timely manner.
7. Add conditions according to the loan programs and VMC guidelines
8. Collect and prepare all necessary documentation for the loan package.
9. Organize, index, and evaluate received documentation.
10. Prepare and maintain all paperwork for existing and new loans.
11. Submit files to the designated Underwriter.
12. Obtain an accurate Closing Confirmation signed and dated by broker
13. Processing input fields completed and accurate
14. Confirm documents are labeled correctly and in the correct placeholders.
15. Successfully bring the loan from opening to closing/funding once value has been received.

Required Skills and Experience

• Mortgage industry experience required
• Knowledge of loan operating systems is a plus
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus

Bachelor’s Degree preferred
