Account Manager – Contract Logistics

Overview

The Account Manager serves as the primary contact for key customers in Contract Logistics operations. Responsible for maintaining and developing long-term relationships, ensuring service quality, managing operational performance, and identifying growth opportunities within existing accounts.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage day-to-day communication with assigned customers to ensure operational excellence and satisfaction.

· Coordinate with warehouse, transportation, and support teams to meet KPIs and contractual commitments.

· Analyze performance metrics, prepare reports, and lead regular business reviews with clients.

· Handle issue resolution and escalation management to maintain service continuity.

· Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality.

· Develop strategic account plans to drive retention and organic growth (upselling/cross-selling).

· Support pricing reviews, renewals, and contract negotiations.

· Act as the “voice of the customer” within the organization, ensuring alignment between client expectations and operational capabilities.

Requirements

· Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business, Engineering, or related field.

· 3–5 years of experience in account management, operations, or customer service within warehousing.

· Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.

· Strong analytical mindset and ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.

· Proficiency in MS Excel, Power BI, or other data visualization tools.

· Fluent in English and Spanish

Preferred Skills

· Experience with large or regional key accounts.

· Knowledge of warehouse and transportation management systems (WMS/TMS).

· Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
