About the Role
As an Account Manager, you'll look after a portfolio of our clients, including many on monthly retainers. You'll be their main point of contact, taking care of day-to-day communication and ad-hoc requests, and making sure the right team members deliver on time. You'll also coordinate website builds and other projects: gathering requirements, planning tasks and keeping deadlines and expectations on track.
You'll be the person clients turn to first, so being tech-savvy matters. You'll handle a lot of the everyday IT requests yourself, such as email setup and migrations, DNS and domain changes, login and access issues, and general troubleshooting. That way many requests get resolved quickly without being escalated to other team members.
No two days are the same: different clients, different industries, different needs.
This is a full-time role (40 hours per week) based in our Grey Street office, working alongside a team of passionate creatives. Flexible working hours are available.
About You
You're confident with clients, organised and at home with technology. You're friendly and approachable but professional, and you get real satisfaction from sorting out a problem and keeping clients happy.
Experience working in a digital agency or an IT support company is essential for this role.
While we realise no one's perfect, the ideal candidate will have:
Experience in a digital agency or IT support environment (essential)
Experience in account management, client services or IT support
Strong IT skills, with the confidence to help with email migrations (e.g. Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Zoho Mail), DNS and domains, and standard IT support
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical things in plain English
Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks across a busy team
Confidence managing client relationships and retainer accounts
Initiative and problem-solving skills to resolve issues and keep work moving
A passion for websites and digital marketing
Knowledge of WordPress, hosting or CRM systems (an advantage but not essential)
Training on our systems and processes will be provided.
