Account Manager
The main responsibilities for the Account Manager are to drive sales of our medical laboratory services to hospitals, clinics and allied healthcare professionals throughout Ireland. The role will require a real team player with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with our clients to ensure their experience of our service is industry leading. Assist the quality department to ensure the department fulfils any related INAB requirements. Ability to successfully negotiate with hospital laboratory leaders, procurement managers, senior managers in private clinics and General Practitioners. Experience with client relationship management (CRM) tools, to complete paperwork and all required administrative duties in a timely fashion. The role also requires the Account Manager to attend Sales & Marketing meetings, exhibitions and conferences as and when required. These may be outside of standard working hours.
Summary of Main Responsibilities
- To assist Eurofins in maintaining a high standard in medical testing.
- Provide support to clients and colleagues to ensure a first-class service.
- Play a leading role in the strategic development of laboratory services and products offered by Eurofins Clinical Diagnostics.
- Grow company sales of our laboratory services and products.
- Play a leading role in the strategic development of the medical pathology services offered by Eurofins Clinical Diagnostics.
- Forge strong relationships with customers through regular site visits/meetings to understand customer needs and further develop the business.
- Represent both yourself and Eurofins Clinical Diagnostics in a dignified, professional, and courteous manner to the Irish marketplace.
- Provide the Sales Operations Manager and/or Commercial Director with up-to-date key account activities.

Education
- A recognised third level qualification in the biological sciences or healthcare or related discipline.
OR - Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a related role
Experience
- At least 3 years in direct sales and/or key account management ideally in a health services or related industry.
- Proven ability to respond successfully to commercial tenders.
- Previous experience of working in a laboratory (medical or associated discipline) would be a distinct advantage.
Required licences / certifications or membership
- Full Clean Valid Irish Driving Licence
