About the Client
Our client is a UK-based payment service provider specializing in card acquiring services.
They offer secure and efficient payment processing solutions that include card acquiring, payouts, money remittance, and risk management services. Catering to a diverse range of merchants, they focus on enabling businesses to accept card payments both online and in-store.
Licenses: EMI in the UK (FCA).
Role Overview
As an Account Manager, you will have the opportunity to impact the growth of our payment solutions and enhance customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with merchants and business partners, ensuring their needs are met effectively. This role offers you the chance to work in a dynamic fintech environment, collaborating closely with various teams to achieve client success.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing merchants and business partners.
Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Support merchants throughout their lifecycle, coordinating onboarding, operational requests, and ongoing account management.
Work closely with Risk, Compliance, Operations, and Payment teams to resolve client issues efficiently.
Identify opportunities for account growth, increased payment volumes, and additional payment solutions.
Requirements
2+ years of experience as an Account Manager, Customer Success Manager, Merchant Support, Relationship Manager, or Client Services Manager within the payments, fintech, banking, or acquiring industry.
Experience working directly with B2B merchants.
Strong understanding of card acquiring, payment processing, or merchant services, experience in FinTech.
Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
Fluent English (written and spoken).
Would be an advantage:
Experience in payment gateways, PSPs, acquiring, or EMI businesses.
Knowledge of Visa and Mastercard payment ecosystem.
Experience working with international merchants.
