About the Role:
The Account Manager will serve as the primary liaison between the company and its key manufacturing clients, ensuring the delivery of exceptional service and fostering long-term partnerships. This role focuses on managing large and national accounts by understanding client needs, coordinating internal resources, and driving account growth through strategic planning and execution. The Account Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities within existing accounts and expanding the company’s footprint in regional markets. Success in this position requires a deep understanding of the manufacturing industry, strong communication skills, and the ability to balance customer satisfaction with company objectives. Ultimately, the Account Manager will contribute significantly to revenue growth and customer retention by developing tailored solutions and maintaining high levels of client engagement.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in account management or sales within the manufacturing industry.
- Proven track record managing large and key accounts with measurable success in account growth and retention.
- Strong knowledge of inside sales processes and new business development strategies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with national and regional sales teams in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
- Advanced degree or relevant certifications in sales or account management.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex customer accounts and multi-stakeholder relationships.
- Experience in strategic planning and execution within a B2B sales context.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and nurture relationships with large and key accounts across national and regional markets within the manufacturing sector.
- Develop and implement account development strategies to drive new business opportunities and increase sales within assigned customer accounts.
- Collaborate closely with inside sales and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery and address client needs promptly.
- Monitor account performance metrics and prepare regular reports to track progress against sales targets and customer satisfaction goals.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements while maintaining alignment with company policies and profitability objectives.
