Account Manager

JOB FUNCTION: The Account Manager will be primarily responsible for preparing accurate and timely quotes for clients while delivering exceptional customer service by addressing client needs, resolving issues, and maintaining strong, ongoing relationships to ensure overall satisfaction and retention.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Customer Service: Engage with customers to understand their needs, respond to inquiries, and resolve any issues to ensure customer satisfaction. Will be required to enter purchase orders and manage product flow to ensure on time delivery of parts.
• Quoting: Prepare and deliver accurate, timely quotations, ensuring they meet customer specifications and business objectives.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: May be assigned to any related projects deemed necessary by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of a 2-year degree (a 4-year degree is preferred), 2 years of experience in a similar position, or strong metal fabrication knowledge.
• Must have a high degree of computer knowledge and skills. He/she must also be proficient in data entry skills and have excellent spreadsheet skills.
• Needs to be extremely organized, have a high attention to detail, enjoy working with numbers as well as people, and have strong communication skills.
• Strong blueprint-reading and metal fabrication knowledge is preferred.
