Account Manager
Description
300+ companies across Europe, the UK and the US run their IT on Primo: onboarding, offboarding, device fleets, licences. When Primo stops, their day stops.
We’re looking for the Account Manager who will take ownership of this portfolio: around 250 SMB accounts (70% France, 30% international), with a clear double mandate: lose no customer, and grow every account.
At Primo, the AM role is not commercial support. It’s a quota-carrying role with a direct, measurable impact on revenue, working alongside a product team and a leadership that listen.
What you’ll move:
Retention: spot churn before it exists and contain it across the whole portfolio.
Expansion: take every account to the next module.
Long-term commitment: turn satisfied customers into committed ones by renewing on longer terms.
Day to day:
Renewals: anticipate every deadline and negotiate, from pricing to commitment terms.
At-risk accounts: spot weak signals early and launch the remediation plan with CS, Care and Product.
Multi-threading: never depend on a single contact, build the relationship with technical leadership, finance and ops.
Pipeline hygiene: forecast, account health and next steps in HubSpot, up to date and reliable.
Partnership with Care: short escalation loops with CareOps and the IT Support Specialist, and a direct link between what customers experience and what we sell them.
Scaling machine: templates, rituals, automations. 250 accounts only hold together with good systems, and you build them.
2 to 4 years in SaaS or B2B Account Management, with a portfolio owned end-to-end and numbers you’re proud of.
Real commercial instinct: you lead a renewal, defend a price, hold your position.
Good English for complex discussions (bilingualism is not required).
The art of prioritising across a large, heterogeneous portfolio.
Data-driven steering: usage, account health, forecast.
The reflex to write the process that’s missing rather than wait for it to exist.
A high bar, for yourself and for others.
A taste for building in a framework that is still moving: a lot remains to be done, and that’s the point.
As much drive to contribute to team culture as to the number.
Nice to have: experience in MDM, IT infrastructure or cybersecurity.
