About the Role
Great at building relationships? Confident negotiating? Enjoy the challenge of turning conversations into successful outcomes?
Digital Theatre+ is looking for a commercially minded, proactive and personable Account Manager to join our Retention team, for a 12-month fixed-term contract on a hybrid working basis.
At Digital Theatre+, we're passionate about transforming teaching and learning through the performing arts. Our digital platform brings world-class theatre productions and educational resources into classrooms, supporting educators and institutions across more than 100 countries.
As an Account Manager, you'll play an important part in strengthening our customer relationships and ensuring institutions continue to benefit from everything Digital Theatre+ has to offer.
You'll manage a varied portfolio of existing customers, taking ownership of their renewals, identifying opportunities to retain and grow accounts, and helping customers recognise the ongoing value of our platform.
This is a fast-paced, commercially focused role where you'll balance building positive customer relationships with confident negotiations, proactive account management and achieving retention targets.
We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a busy environment and has the confidence to handle challenging conversations while maintaining a professional, customer-focused approach.
What You'll Be Doing
Managing customer relationships: Building and maintaining strong relationships with a diverse portfolio of customers across the education sector.
Owning the renewal process: Taking responsibility for customer renewals, engaging proactively ahead of renewal dates and working to secure continued partnerships.
Negotiating successful outcomes: Handling commercial discussions, overcoming objections and identifying opportunities for increased value or longer-term agreements.
Protecting customer retention: Identifying accounts at risk of not renewing, understanding customer concerns and taking proactive steps to address them.
Spotting opportunities: Reviewing customer usage and engagement to identify opportunities to strengthen relationships and maximise account value.
Managing a busy portfolio: Balancing a high volume of customer interactions, renewal deadlines and competing priorities while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
Keeping accurate records: Maintaining up-to-date account information, renewal activity and forecasts to support effective planning and reporting.
Working collaboratively: Partnering with Customer Success, Sales, Marketing and Product teams to share customer insights, resolve challenges and improve the overall customer experience.
