Account Manager
As the Influencer Marketing Account Manager, you will be the strategic partner for brands to find, hire and pay social media content creators directly and run campaigns end to end without agencies or long contracts. You will teach brands who to hire, how to brief, what to pay and how to turn one good campaign into an ongoing creator program. Your success is measured by how quickly your accounts make their first hire, how often they come back, and how much they grow.
Responsibilities:
- Own a book of about 200 brands on paid subscription plans, managing outreach, cadences and account notes in HubSpot
- Onboard new brands and get them to their first successful creator hire quickly
- Teach brands to get the most from the platform's hiring tools: searching and filtering creators, judging profiles and past work, posting campaigns, reviewing applicants and buying packages
- Consult on influencer marketing strategy: campaign goals, platform and creator tier selection, balancing launches with always-on content, and how success will be measured
- Advise on the practical calls that make or break a campaign, including creator selection, briefs, content formats, fair pricing, usage rights and timing
- Turn one-off orders into repeat programs with campaign plans, content calendars and creator rosters, growing the creator spend across your accounts
- Run check-ins and results reviews that show what worked and set up the next campaign
- Watch usage and spend signals from automated alerts to catch at-risk accounts early and step in
- Build enablement that scales beyond your book: playbooks, brief templates, webinars, help-center content and in-product or email nudges
- Flag upgrade and expansion opportunities to the sales team and bring customer feedback to product and marketing
Requirements
- 3+ years in client services, account management or campaign strategy at an influencer marketing, social, creative or performance marketing agency, or at a creator marketing or ad platform
- Hands-on experience sourcing, briefing and managing creators for brand or UGC campaigns
- Customer success fundamentals: managing a book of business and outreach cadences in a CRM such as HubSpot
- Ability to consult on campaign structure, budgets and marketing strategy so clients invest more with confidence
- Comfort owning retention and revenue growth targets with commission tied to results
- A teacher's instinct: you can show a customer what good looks like and make it repeatable
- The organization to manage many accounts at once while building resources that scale
- Excellent written and verbal English, since most customer outreach happens over email
Preferred Qualifications
- Customer success experience at a SaaS company or marketplace
- Knowledge of TikTok, Instagram and YouTube creator pricing and performance benchmarks
- E-commerce or DTC brand experience
- Experience creating training content or running webinars
- Paid media or ad platform account management experience focused on growing client spend
- A startup, builder mindset: comfortable spotting where automation or process improvements would help and pushing for them
Benefits
