Position Summary

The Account Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth through new business development, account management, and customer retention within assigned markets. This role focuses on selling contract services, recurring maintenance programs, and project-based solutions to corporate, institutional, government, healthcare, hospitality, and Class A commercial clients.

This individual will manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and relationship building through proposal development, pricing, negotiation, and closing while maintaining exceptional customer service for both new and existing clients.

Key Responsibilities

· Develop new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, email outreach, and lead generation activities

· Manage the full sales process from initial contact through proposal presentation, negotiation, and closing

· Sell contract services, recurring maintenance programs, and project-based solutions

· Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, property managers, facility leaders, and key decision-makers

· Maintain and grow existing client accounts while ensuring high customer satisfaction and retention

· Conduct site visits to assess customer needs, determine project scope, and recommend service solutions

· Collaborate with operations and leadership teams to ensure accurate proposals, pricing, and service delivery

· Meet or exceed assigned sales goals, revenue targets, and performance metrics

· Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and customer needs within assigned territory

· Prepare weekly activity reports, pipeline updates, and sales forecasts

  • Develop and execute an annual business plan aligned with company growth objectives

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred (or equivalent work experience)

· 2+ years of B2B sales experience selling services, preferably within facilities services, restoration, property management, or technical service industries

· Experience selling to Class A commercial buildings, facility managers, or property managers preferred

Skills & Competencies:

· Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and closing skills

· Excellent verbal, written, and presentation abilities

· Ability to build relationships with multiple stakeholder levels

· Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously

· Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilities

· Comfortable presenting in person, virtually, and over the phone

Technical Skills:

· Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

· CRM systems

· Experience with Corrigo, ServMan, Freshdesk, or similar platforms preferred

Additional Requirements:

· Ability to travel up to 50%+ as needed by car, train, or air

· Must reside near a major airport

· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

· Professional trade association involvement is a plus

Work Environment / Physical Requirements:

· Combination of office, remote, and customer site environments

· Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and travel regularly for client meetings and business development activities
