Account Manager – Western Australia

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly driven and commercially minded Account Manager to develop and grow our presence across the Perth and broader Western Australian market.

This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a relatively untapped territory and build a strong, sustainable customer base across aesthetic clinics and healthcare professionals.

While experience within the medical aesthetics industry would be advantageous, it is not essential. We are open to candidates from other industries who can demonstrate a strong track record in consultative sales, territory development and relationship management.

The successful candidate will need to be comfortable discussing products at both a commercial and clinical level, building credibility with healthcare professionals while identifying opportunities to grow customer accounts and market share.

We are looking for someone who is highly autonomous, commercially curious and motivated by building a territory rather than simply maintaining an established customer base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of the Western Australian (North) sales territory, with an initial focus on Perth and surrounding metropolitan areas.
  • Develop new business opportunities and convert prospective customers across aesthetic clinics, cosmetic medical practices and other relevant healthcare settings.
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals.
  • Represent and grow the Letybo and Saypha dermal filler portfolios within the territory.
  • Deliver a consultative sales approach by understanding individual clinic needs, patient demographics, treatment preferences and commercial objectives.
  • Position products confidently from both a commercial and clinical perspective.
  • Communicate product features, clinical positioning and differentiation clearly and credibly to healthcare professionals.
  • Identify opportunities to increase product adoption, customer penetration and share of wallet within accounts.
  • Develop strategic territory plans and prioritise high-potential accounts and opportunities.
  • Prospect proactively and create new business opportunities within an underdeveloped territory.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle, including prospecting, customer meetings, product positioning, objection handling, negotiation, account conversion and ongoing account development.
  • Work closely with internal marketing, medical education, clinical and commercial teams to support customer acquisition and growth.
  • Support workshops, education events, conferences and customer engagement activities as required.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasting, CRM activity and territory reporting.
  • Monitor competitor activity and provide relevant market insights to the broader commercial team.
  • Achieve agreed sales targets, activity measures and territory growth objectives.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a commercially strong sales professional who can demonstrate:

  • A proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong experience in consultative or solution-based selling.
  • The ability to build credibility and long-term relationships with sophisticated customers and professional stakeholders.
  • Confidence presenting technical or clinically oriented information.
  • The ability to learn complex products quickly and translate product knowledge into commercially relevant customer conversations.
  • Strong new-business-development capability and a genuine appetite for prospecting and building a territory.
  • The ability to identify opportunities, develop account strategies and convert new customers.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen and an understanding of how to grow and develop customer accounts.
  • High levels of personal accountability and ownership.
  • The ability to work independently and manage a territory autonomously.
  • A proactive, self-starting approach and willingness to create opportunities rather than wait for them.
  • Strong organisational and territory-management skills.
  • The ability to work collaboratively and contribute strategically as part of a broader national commercial team.

Industry Background

Previous experience within medical aesthetics, dermatology, pharmaceuticals, medical devices or professional skincare would be highly regarded; however, aesthetics experience is not mandatory.

We are equally interested in high-performing candidates from other industries who can demonstrate:

  • Complex or consultative sales experience.
  • Territory development and new business acquisition.
  • Selling to professional or technically sophisticated customers.
  • The ability to understand and communicate technical information.
  • A history of successfully developing new or underpenetrated markets.

We would rather appoint an exceptional salesperson with the right mindset, capability and learning agility than limit the search exclusively to candidates already working within aesthetics.

Personal Attributes

The ideal candidate will be:

Driven and ambitious

Motivated by growth, targets and the opportunity to build something.

Self-directed

Comfortable working independently without requiring significant day-to-day supervision.

A self-learner

Naturally curious and capable of quickly developing strong product, clinical and market knowledge.

Commercially strategic

Able to look beyond individual transactions and identify longer-term account and territory opportunities.

Consultative

Focused on understanding the customer and creating value rather than relying on transactional selling.

Resilient

Comfortable developing a territory where relationships and market share need to be built.

Credible with healthcare professionals

Able to communicate professionally and confidently with doctors, nurses and other clinical stakeholders.

Collaborative

While highly autonomous in the field, the successful candidate must also be a strong team member who contributes insights, shares information and works strategically with the wider organisation.

What Success Looks Like

Within the first 6–12 months, the successful Account Manager will have:

  • Established a strong understanding of the WA aesthetics market and key accounts.

  • Established strong relationships with key healthcare professionals.
  • Demonstrated consistent prospecting and new-business activity.
