About the Role

Backline Outsourcing is seeking an Account Receivable Support Specialist to bring accuracy, speed, and ownership to its accounts receivable function.

The successful candidate will help clear backlogs, reduce Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), and ensure every naira owed is properly tracked and followed up.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and issue 100–300 customer invoices monthly with a near-zero error rate.
• Own client collection follow-ups through calls, emails, and documented follow-up schedules.
• Reconcile customer accounts and bank records regularly, rather than waiting until month-end.
• Track outstanding payments and ensure receivables are followed up promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of invoices, payments, and customer accounts.
• Support efforts to reduce payment delays and improve the overall collections process.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of relevant experience in accounts receivable, finance, accounting, or a related role.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and follow-up skills.
• Ability to manage high volumes of invoices and customer accounts.
• Strong ownership and ability to work independently.
• Good reconciliation and record-keeping skills.
