Account Technology Strategist
Microsoft’s Enterprise Account Team focuses on empowering customers on their AI Transformation journey. This team is responsible for envisioning new possibilities for our customers, delivering solutions that result in targeted business outcomes and driving revenue growth for Microsoft.
As a Strategic Account Technology Strategist, you will serve as a technology leader and trusted advisor for Microsoft’s strategic enterprise customers. You will translate business priorities into a technology strategy and roadmap spanning Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Microsoft Security, data and analytics, application innovation, and modern work. In partnership with the Enterprise Account Executive, you will orchestrate Microsoft, partner, and customer teams from early strategy through implementation, adoption, and value realization.
This opportunity will allow you to build relationships with senior technology decision-makers, support secure artificial-intelligence transformation, and shape programs with meaningful customer and Microsoft business impact. You will combine industry insight, technology knowledge, commercial awareness, and effective communication to challenge established thinking and become a trusted technology advisor. Responsibilities
- Customer AI and Security Strategy Leadership: Document and articulate the customer’s business objectives, industry context, technology landscape, artificial-intelligence ambition, and Security strategy. Contribute to a customer-backed transformation roadmap that addresses architecture, data readiness, identity, governance, compliance, responsible artificial intelligence, adoption, and measurable business outcomes.
- Customer Technology Leadership: Develop trusted relationships with Chief Information Officers, Chief Technology Officers, Chief Digital Officers, Chief Information Security Officers, enterprise architects, and other technology decision-makers. Support outcome-oriented briefings and provide clear recommendations on technology investments, risks, dependencies, and transformation priorities.
- Microsoft Architecture and Transformation: Connect the customer’s artificial-intelligence vision to Microsoft Azure infrastructure and platform services, Azure AI Foundry, Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Microsoft Security, Power Platform, GitHub, and the required identity, data, application, integration, governance, and operational foundations. Maintain a consistent technical narrative and ensure proposed solutions are secure, responsible, scalable, commercially viable, and aligned with the customer’s architecture.
- Technical Team Orchestration: Coordinate solution specialists, architects, engineering teams, customer-success resources, services organizations, and partners. Establish shared priorities, support technical governance, identify blockers, and engage the appropriate resources to achieve customer outcomes.
- Operational and Commercial Excellence: Lead technical decision-maker conversations and governance to ensure customers adopt and realize value from Microsoft’s portfolio. Partner with the Enterprise Account Executive to create and progress qualified pipeline, accelerate Azure consumption, support Microsoft Azure Consumption Commitment execution and renewal, and increase adoption of Copilot and Security solutions.
- Consultative and Industry Leadership: Use consultative engagement skills to challenge assumptions and connect technology decisions to growth, efficiency, resilience, employee experience, customer experience, and risk reduction. Anticipate industry, regulatory, competitive, digital-sovereignty, and cybersecurity developments that may affect the customer’s strategy.
- Organizational Contribution: Lead through influence across virtual teams, represent customer priorities within Microsoft, and contribute reusable insights, practices, and customer examples to the broader technical community.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND technical consulting, technical consultative selling, business consulting, practice building, or related technical/sales experience OR equivalent experience.
- Experience engaging technology decision-makers and translating business priorities into practical technology strategies, recommendations, or transformation plans.
- Experience supporting enterprise artificial-intelligence, cloud, security, data, application-modernization, or digital-transformation initiatives and evaluating architecture, integration, security, governance, operational, and adoption requirements.
- Strong communication, consultative engagement, stakeholder management, collaboration, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Fluency or business level Czech and English language skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in the relevant customer industry.
• Experience in digital transformation or using technology to drive customer business outcomes.
• Technical breadth across Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Microsoft Security, Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform, GitHub, identity, data, applications, integration, governance, and responsible artificial intelligence, with demonstrable depth in at least one Microsoft solution area.
Account Technology IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across Czechia is Kč 1,093,000.00 - Kč 1,957,000.00 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
