Accountant 3, Private Wealth Accounting

The Role

An experienced position responsible for low, moderate to high complexity private wealth portfolios with minimal supervision. This role independently executes sophisticated accounting tasks while demonstrating advanced technical expertise in trust and corporate administration.

What You'll Do

• You'll perform periodic bookkeeping, reconciliations, and prepare complex financial statements with required disclosures, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• You'll manage moderate to high-complexity accounting matters, prepare sophisticated client deliverables, and address reviewer comments in a timely manner.
• You'll compute complex tax and VAT requirements, monitor regulatory reporting deadlines, and ensure ongoing compliance with applicable regulations.
• You'll independently resolve audit queries, review working papers and schedules, and maintain high-quality deliverables through thorough review processes.
• You'll identify and escalate complex technical issues as appropriate while supporting business objectives and carrying out other duties as required.

About You

• You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field, or have completed ACCA Level 2 or ACA, with at least 4 years of experience, including a minimum of 2 years in fund accounting.
• You demonstrate advanced knowledge of accounting standards and regulations, with expertise in complex bookkeeping, reconciliations, tax computations, and financial reporting.
• You are proficient in preparing detailed financial statements with disclosures while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and high-quality deliverables.
• You possess excellent problem-solving, critical-thinking, interpersonal, and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with clients and team members.
• You are a reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive professional who effectively prioritizes competing demands, approaches challenges with a solutions-focused mindset, and continuously seeks process improvements and efficiencies.
