About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team in Lekki, Lagos. The ideal candidate will handle financial reporting, bank reconciliations, tax compliance, and cyclical audits, while contributing strong business acumen and operational discipline to support the organization's financial health.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial statements, management/MIS reports, tax documents, and ad-hoc finance reports.
• Reconcile bank statements, monitor cash flow, handle petty cash, and manage foreign exchange transfers.
• Maintain accounting controls, track expenditures/receivables/payables, and manage budgeting and forecasting.
• Ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal financial legal regulations.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in financial reporting, bank reconciliations, and cyclical audits.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; knowledge of QuickBooks is an added advantage.
• Expertise in tax computations and filings (PAYE, VAT, CIT), financial analysis, operational discipline, and strong business acumen.
