We are seeking an Accountant II – Accounting Operations to join our team in Mexico. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional looking to contribute to a fast-paced environment while developing their skills and adding value to accounting operations and financial processes.

• Key Responsibilities
• Assist with the monthly close process and prepare account reconciliations to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Support accounting process improvements and initiatives designed to increase efficiency and streamline close activities.
• Assist in documenting and implementing scalable accounting processes and internal controls.
• Perform balance sheet flux analysis, identify trends, and provide meaningful financial insights.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and providing requested information.
• Contribute to SOX compliance and the strengthening of the internal control environment.
• Participate in ad-hoc Accounting and Finance projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams to Resolve complex business challenges.

Requirements

• Fluent English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• 2+ years of accounting experience, including experience in public accounting.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong quantitative, qualitative, analytical, and accounting research skills.
• Experience with Microsoft and Google applications.
• Oracle experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Proactive problem-solving approach and willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Interest in continuous improvement and transforming traditional finance practices.

Work Location: Mexico – Remote
