Job Summary
Manage the accounts receivable function to ensure accurate payment processing, maintain financial records, prepare forecasts, and support finance management with accounting tasks.
Responsibilities
- Collect client payments.
- Maintain accurate records of all client payments in the company’s accounting system to ensure financial transparency.
- Prepare payment collection forecasts to support cash flow planning and financial decision-making.
- Identify and recommend improvements to accounts receivable processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Required competencies and certifications
- Completed formal training or courses in accounting
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in accounts receivable or similar role within an SME setting
- Ability to work independently to manage accounts receivable functions effectively
- Proficiency in using accounting software for accurate financial record-keeping and processing
- Availability to work a 5-day work week
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Degree in accounting
