Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team in the Mumbai region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, with a focus on payroll processing, GST, TDS, and accounts payable. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and maintaining accurate financial records. Key Responsibilities: - Process payroll and ensure timely payments to employees. - Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. - Prepare and file GST and TDS returns in accordance with regulatory requirements. - Handle financial complaints and queries from employees and vendors. - Maintain and update financial records using Tally and other accounting software. - Assist in the preparation of financial reports and budgets. - Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations. Required Skills: - Proficiency in Tally and accounting software. - Strong understanding of GST, TDS, and other tax regulations. - Experience in payroll processing and accounts payable. - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. - Strong communication and complaint handling abilities. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
