Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in the Delhi-NCR region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Indian accounting practices and will be responsible for managing various accounting tasks to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records. This role is crucial for maintaining the financial health of our organization and will involve working closely with other departments to support financial reporting and compliance. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and maintain year-end accounts and financial statements in accordance with Indian accounting standards. - Perform bookkeeping tasks, including ledger posting and maintaining the general ledger. - Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure that all transactions are accurately recorded and discrepancies are resolved promptly. - Assist in the preparation of balance sheets and other financial reports as required. - Collaborate with the CA firm for audits and compliance-related activities. - Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial information to management. - Stay updated with changes in accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance. Required Skills: - Strong knowledge of Indian accounting principles and practices. - Proficiency in bookkeeping and ledger management. - Experience with bank reconciliation and financial reporting. - Familiarity with general ledger accounting and year-end accounts preparation. - Ability to work collaboratively with a CA firm and other stakeholders. - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
