Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team in Maharashtra. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, with a focus on maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial statements, and assisting with audits. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. - Prepare and process account entries, including invoices, payments, and receipts. - Conduct reconciliation of accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies. - Prepare and file GST and TDS returns in accordance with regulatory requirements. - Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements for management review. - Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making. - Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and best practices. Required Skills: - Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Tally. - Strong understanding of GST and TDS regulations. - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
