Accountant / Junior Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant / Junior Accountant to join our team in Charni Road, Mumbai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, invoices, vouchers, and accounting entries. This role involves handling GST and TDS-related work, following up with clients regarding payments and documents, and coordinating with internal teams for accounting-related queries. The Accountant / Junior Accountant will ensure timely completion of assigned accounting and compliance activities and prepare necessary reports and documentation to support the senior accounting team in daily financial operations. Key Responsibilities: - Handle day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities. - Maintain accurate financial records, invoices, vouchers, and accounting entries. - Manage GST and TDS-related work. - Follow up with clients regarding payments, documents, and other accounting requirements. - Coordinate with clients and internal teams for accounting-related queries. - Ensure timely completion of assigned accounting and compliance activities. - Prepare and maintain necessary reports and documentation. - Support the senior accounting team in daily financial operations. Required Skills: - Good knowledge of Accounting & Bookkeeping. - Working knowledge of GST and TDS. - Good communication and client follow-up skills. - Strong coordination and organizational skills. - Knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software will be preferred.
