and business advisory services. They are renowned for providing a high level of
professional quality and comprehensive services to their clients, specialising
in accounting & tax compliance, tax planning, self-managed super funds,
commercial & business planning and bookkeeping services. Due to dynamic
company growth, they are looking for an experienced Accountant to join their
boutique accounting firm based in Hawthorn, Melbourne.
The
Position…
In this
position, you will work closely with a Partner in delivering a wide range of
accounting, bookkeeping and taxation services to a diverse range of clients.
With a friendly yet professional culture, you will have the opportunity to
develop and build the foundation of a great career and work with a team of
young, vibrant professional accountants to service clients on all levels of tax
and business advisory services.
Specific
job tasks will include:
- Lead, advise and/or provide taxation and financial services such as
individual tax returns, BAS/FBT lodgements, financial statement
preparation for Companies, Trusts, Partnerships, Superannuation Funds.
- Preparation of management reports for a variety of business clients
- Advise and assist with cloud-based accounting software’s and
bookkeeping matters.
- Advise and assist with general accounting compliance matters.
- Opportunity to liaise with clients, ATO and other statutory bodies.
- Collaborating with peers and Partners
The Ideal
Candidate…
The ideal
candidate will have the following:
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting
- 1-5 years of accounting experience
- Have completed or commenced CA/CPA qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team environment
- An enthusiasm for continuous development
- Experience and knowledge of MS
Office/Xero/MYOB/Quickbooks/BGL360/Handiledger and Workflow Max (highly
regarded)
- Experience in preparing Company, Trust and Superannuation Fund and
Individual income tax returns, Fringe Benefits tax returns, Business and
Instalment Activity Statements (highly regarded)
