About the Role
Skache Integrated Services Limited, a human resources company, is recruiting an Accountant for a microfinance bank. The role involves financial reporting, reconciliations, regulatory compliance, budgeting, and strengthening financial controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accounting records, process daily transactions, and prepare financial statements and management reports.
- Monitor income, expenses, assets, liabilities, and capital accounts.
- Perform bank, customer, loan, and investment reconciliations.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and microfinance banking requirements.
- Support internal and external audits and prepare regulatory reports.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow monitoring, and financial analysis.
- Process approved payments, monitor liquidity, and identify financial risks or control gaps.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a bank, microfinance bank, or financial institution.
- ACA, ACCA, ICAN, or equivalent certification is an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliations, regulatory compliance, and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail, integrity, communication, budgeting, and internal control skills.
