Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team in Assam. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, with proficiency in Tally ERP and GST compliance. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely reporting of financial information. - Prepare and file GST returns and ensure compliance with all tax regulations. - Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections. - Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts. - Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial policies. - Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making. - Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and best practices. Required Skills: - Proficiency in Tally ERP and accounting software. - Strong understanding of GST and tax regulations. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - A degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent; CA qualification is a plus.
