Accountant / Senior Accountant

On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced Accountant / Senior Accountant for agroup of companies. This role requires a highly qualified professional with strong technical expertise, a hands-on approach, and the ability to manage the full spectrum of accounting responsibilities under both international and UAE standards.

Role overview:

Manage the full accounting cycle, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, fixed assets, accruals, provisions, and closing activities.

Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS and UAE regulations.

Ensure adherence to local (UAE) and international accounting standards, tax, and compliance requirements.

Conduct cash flow management, budgeting, and forecasting to support business operations and decision-making

Supervise audits and liaise with external auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities

Implement and enhance internal controls, policies, and financial procedures

Provide financial analysis and reports to management for strategic planning.

Skills

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. · No prior experience in the hard commodity industry required. Strong understanding of financial principles and treasury concepts. Fluency in English (spoken and written) is essential. Russian is a strong add value. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications. · Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. · Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn. previous experince in trading/ energy sector is off high value.
