Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team in Maharashtra. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting practices and principles, with a focus on accounts finalisation, auditing, and financial reporting. As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and finalise accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. - Conduct audits and assist in the preparation of financial statements. - Perform bank reconciliations and manage journal entries. - Prepare and file TDS and GST returns in a timely manner. - Assist in the preparation of balance sheets and other financial reports. - Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and analysis. - Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and best practices. Required Skills: - Strong knowledge of accounts finalisation and auditing processes. - Proficiency in bank reconciliation and balance sheet preparation. - Familiarity with TDS and GST regulations. - Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information clearly.
