Accountant

A prominent company in the solar energy sector in Saudi Arabia is in need of an accountant with at least 5 years of experience to manage financial operations and participate in the company's accounting activities. Work locations available: Al-Ahsa and Al-Jouf.

Key Responsibilities:

• Recording daily accounting entries, reviewing them, and preparing bank reconciliations and monthly and annual closings.
• Preparing periodic financial statements and reports according to the standards adopted in the kingdom.
• Accounting for projects: monitoring the costs of solar energy projects, and comparing actual expenses with the budget.
• Preparing VAT returns and ensuring compliance with the requirements of the electronic invoicing system of the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority.
• Managing accounts of suppliers and employees, and monitoring collections and payments.
• Working on ERP systems and ensuring the accuracy of financial data.
• Coordinating with external auditors and preparing audit requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• Practical experience of at least 5 years in accounting.
• Experience in VAT and Zakat in the kingdom.
• Experience in project accounting or contracting.
• Proficiency in working with ERP systems and Excel.

Work Type: Full-time at the company's headquarters.

Monthly Salary: Between 6,000 to 9,000 SAR based on experience and competence.
