Accountant Technician - (Payroll) Fiscal 3220

This position is responsible for the biweekly processing of payroll and the ongoing reconciliation of payroll-related and employee benefit accounts. Duties include processing payroll in UGK Kronos; performing biweekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll reporting; reconciling benefit vendor invoices; ensuring accuracy of employee benefit deductions and enrollments; and collaborating with Payroll Manager to resolve discrepancies. Position reports to the Payroll Manager with moderate latitude for independent judgment and initiative

Graduation from an accredited high school or G.E.D is required. A minimum of two (2) years of payroll processing experience, including demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required. Experience in benefits administration or payroll-benefit reconciliation is highly preferred. An associate’s degree in accounting, finance, payroll accounting or a related field is preferred. Relevant education may substitute for up to one (1) year of the required experience. A valid Class C Texas Driver’s License may be required.
