Accountant

• Develop and maintain production budgets, track expenses, and ensure adherence to financial limits.

• Monitor and record financial transactions, including invoices, purchase orders, and petty cash expenses.

• Analyze expenditures to identify cost-saving opportunities and provide budget adjustment recommendations.

• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including cash flow statements and cost reports.

• Oversee contracts with vendors and process payments.

• Collaborate with the production team to create financial forecasts and assess risks.

• Ensure compliance with financial and regulatory requirements and maintain proper documentation.

• Support effective communication regarding budgetary matters.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

• Proven experience in production accounting or financial management, preferably in the entertainment industry.

• Strong understanding of budgeting, financial analysis, and cost control principles.

• Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems.

• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality and integrity.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Solid organizational and time management abilities to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Knowledge of industry-specific accounting practices and regulations is a plus.
