Accountant

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base (DIB) & Major Range and Test Facilities Base (MRTFB) in DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This position is with the Directorate of Resource Management at Letterkenny Army Depot in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.

Balance and reconcile monthly financial statements using an automated accounting system such as Logistics Modernization Program (LMP).

Prepare, analyze, and interpret financial statements and reports in accordance with regulatory and standard accounting practices.

Serve as a point of contact for Depot managers and employees regarding customer service with the supporting Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) or local accounting operations.
