ACCOUNTANT

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Finance team to ensure accurate, complete, and timely financial information.
• Responsible for maintaining the Fixed Asset Register.
• Maintain project-related accounting records and cost summaries.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and general ledger entries.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies. Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, statutory requirements, and internal policies.
• Coordinate with banks and government agencies as required.
• Coordinate and support the internal and external audit processes, ensuring the timely resolution of audit matters.
• Support corporate tax compliance matters as required.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned in support of the Finance and Contract teams.

Requirements:A

• Prior experience in the construction industry will be an advantage.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
