Accountant with French

Our client, a leading international financial institution, is looking for a Accountant with French to join its growing investment funds operations team.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop expertise within fund accounting while working in a dynamic, international environment supporting a diverse portfolio of investment structures and clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare end-to-end monthly/quarterly activities including cash bookkeeping and reconciliation, valuations on various type of assets, bookkeep in the Accounting system drawdowns, distributions, perform accruals calculation,
• Performing activities related to NAV calculation,
• Prepare and review accounting reporting,
• Investigating discrepancies including direct location contact
• Ensure all tasks are performed in a timely and accurate manner, in accordance with local and global procedures,
• Manage client/ location queries and provide a high level of customer service to our external clients and business lines.
• Provide input in relation to the review and monitoring of existing business process, procedures and checklists to maximize efficiency and productivity in the Private Capital Team.

Requirements

• Previous experience in fund accounting, accounting, finance, audit or financial services
• Very good command of English and French
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial instruments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
