Accountant

We are seeking a skilled Accountant to join our team in the Mumbai region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, with a focus on trade finance and banking operations. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and providing accurate financial reporting. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and maintain financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. - Manage bank reconciliations and oversee cash flow management to ensure liquidity. - Handle trade finance operations, including letters of credit (LC) and bank guarantees (BG). - Utilize Tally ERP and SAP for financial management and reporting. - Conduct MIS reporting to provide insights into financial performance and assist in decision-making. - Ensure timely deposits and compliance with taxation requirements. - Collaborate with other departments to support financial planning and analysis. Required Skills: - Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Tally ERP and SAP. - Strong understanding of trade finance, banking operations, and financial management. - Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. - Strong communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
