Accounting Analyst I

Accounting Analyst I Responsibilities:

• Conduct manual monthly audits of contractor invoices to identify and document incorrect charges.
• Prepare detailed findings reports breaking down penalties by charges, invoice number, penalty type, member code, region, and state.
• Support the reporting process by providing clear justifications for audit-penalty determinations.
• Assist in highlighting operational opportunities to enhance contractor service quality.
• Collaborate within a team to maintain accuracy and timeliness in audit procedures.

Accounting Analyst I Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and manual auditing skills.
• Ability to analyze invoice data and identify discrepancies.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Experience with operational reporting is preferred but not required.
