Accounting Analyst
You will review and validate the accounting and financial closings of the subsidiaries assigned to your scope, ensuring compliance with local GAAP, IFRS standards and internal policies. You will act as the main financial point of contact for subsidiaries, providing guidance and resolving questions. You will validate that reported data is properly supported by reconciliations and lead action plans to fix issues and continuously improve accounting processes. You will work side by side with Treasury, FP&A, Legal, Tax and Internal Control teams on strategic projects, and you will coordinate and facilitate the external audit process of the subsidiaries, ensuring transparency and timely compliance.
Responsibilities
- Review and validate accounting and financial closings of assigned subsidiaries
- Ensure compliance with local GAAP, IFRS standards and internal policies
- Act as the main financial point of contact for subsidiaries, providing guidance and resolving questions
- Validate that reported data is properly supported by reconciliations
- Lead action plans to correct incidents and continuously improve accounting processes
- Collaborate with Treasury, FP&A, Legal, Tax and Internal Control teams on strategic projects
- Coordinate and facilitate the external audit process of subsidiaries
Requirements
- 2 to 4 years of experience in accounting or auditing
- Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting or related field
- Big Four or multinational company background is highly valued
- Advanced Excel skills
- Knowledge of Oracle or Business Central is a plus
- Proactive mindset and ability to manage communication with teams in different countries
