Accounting and Financial Transformation Internship

At Carrefour Financial Services, we are looking to bring a student into our accounting team in Alcobendas through an Internship Program.

It is the perfect opportunity to combine your university studies with practical experience in a dynamic environment, participating in both daily accounting operations and financial innovation and automation projects.

What will you learn and what will your functions be during the internship?

You will be part of the finance area, providing support and developing competencies in the following tasks:

Accounting management in SAP: Learning the registration and coding of supplier invoices, customers, and expense reports.

Adjustments and closings: Support in the preparation and registration of adjustment entries, accruals, and periodic closings.

Reconciliations and balancing: Verification and performance of periodic bank reconciliations, as well as balancing key account balances.

Financial transformation and Artificial Intelligence: Active participation in process optimization and testing of AI tools applied to accounting.

Reporting and reports: Support in the preparation of basic financial reports and the creation of work templates in Excel.

Audit support: Occasional collaboration in the preparation and collection of documentation for financial audits.

Schedule: Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 16:00 h

Ongoing studies: University degree in Economics, Business Administration and Management (ADE), Finance and Accounting, or a similar degree (it is an essential requirement to maintain active enrollment for the signing of the internship agreement).

Languages: Spanish and English (functional/intermediate level).

Technology and innovation: Demonstrable knowledge or interest in Artificial Intelligence tools and good proficiency in Excel.

Skills: Interest in the accounting area, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team.
