Accounting Assistant
Job Summary
The Accounting Assistant shall assist the project accountant in the maintenance of books. He/she conducts daily monitoring of collections and disbursements and prepare GL schedules and analyses.Duties and Responsibilities

1. Financial Reporting |
|
|
· Preparations and analysis of GL/SL Schedules · Submit schedules and other documents required by audit. · Preparations of Monthly STI reconciliations · Prepare monthly and annual VAT and withholding tax report

1. Expenditure · Prepare of RFP’s for intercompany charges and tax payments · Prepare statement of accounts (SOA) for intercompany charges · Prepare JV entries (lapsing schedules, amortization of prepayments, issuances of supplies, accruals, cash advance liquidations, etc.) · Comply to Regular Government Reportorial requirements (e.g. VAT, withholding tax, RPT and Business Taxes)

2. Asset Control · Prepare cash receipts book (CRB) and cash disbursements book (CDB) · Monitor un-liquidated cash advances · Make sure that cash collections for IDs, Supplies, etc are properly recorded

3. Administrative · Monitor and facilitate purchase requisition of the accounting section · File, safe keep and archive paid and release vouchers · Help maintain the cleanliness and security of the office, including equipment utilized by the section · Organize and keep accounting documents · Initiate requisition of the office supplies requirements of the section including control and safekeeping od supplies used by the section

4. Others · Perform other tasks assigned from time to time. |
Technical Competencies and Skills
• Knowledge in MS Office Applications (Excel, Word and PPT) • Must have knowledge in basic accounting principles and applications, • Ability to perform detailed and complex numerical computations and reportsEducation, Trainings and Licenses Required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, • Preferably at least 1 year of experience in Accounting
