Accounting Assistant - Mountaineer Honda
Mountaineer Honda is hiring an Accounting Assistant to support our accounting team across multiple dealership locations. This is a great opportunity to start or grow a career in accounting in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
The Work
Accounts Receivable
- Post daily bank deposits
- Track charge accounts and follow up on past-due balances
- Keep customer records accurate; resolve account questions
- Set up new customer charge accounts
Accounts Payable
- Support AP across multiple dealership locations
- Post daily invoices
- Reconcile monthly statements
- Onboard and maintain vendor records
Additional Responsibilities
- Backup coverage at the rental desk when needed
- Process warranty cancellations
- Assist with accounting/admin projects as they come up
You're a Fit If You Have
- Some background in accounting, bookkeeping, AP, or AR (helpful but not required)
- An eye for detail and a knack for staying organized
- Comfort juggling deadlines and shifting priorities
- Solid Excel skills
- High School diploma or equivalent
- A valid driver's license
- Dealership experience a plus, but not required
