Job Summary:

Maintains accounting document files, including daily work and accounts payable. Keys daily worksheets to the general ledger system. Assists accounting personnel as requested. Maintains responsibility for compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Hospital Audit Guide. Reconciles general ledger accounts as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Education and Work Experience:

  • High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred
  • Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred

Essential Functions:

  • Reconciles balance sheet accounts assigned. Assists in maintenance, reconciliation, deposits, invoicing and provides miscellaneous bookkeeping services for the organization. Assists with preparation of year-end audit schedules, as assigned.
  • Maintains accounts receivables of building and office rentals including sending invoices and posting payments to proper General Ledger (GL) account. Provides support for accounts payable, as needed, including filing and matching supporting documentation with check copies.
  • Enters assigned data into appropriate or specific systems (Journal entries, Accounts Payable, etc.) Files accounts payable.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
