Accounting Associate

SUMMARY Under the supervision of the Controller, the Accounting Associate is responsible for all aspects of cash receipts processing including ACHs, checks, credit cards, and all student accounts cash receipt sessions. This position will also assist with year-end audits. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Process all cash receipts to include student accounts. Prepare and enter journal entries for the department. Prepare bank reconciliations for cash accounts Prepare and produce monthly cash reports to internal parties, such as Federal Money report and Sales Tax report. Reconcile all tax levy payments to Municipalities Tax Levy Spreadsheet. Perform other job related duties as assigned.
