Accounting Associate
You will support core accounting processes, financial reporting, and day-to-day operations on the Financial Operations team. You will assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, prepare balance sheet and P&L reconciliations, and record journal entries and invoices. You will help prepare financial statements in line with US GAAP, support treasury activities, and prepare audit support and responses to auditor requests. You will also support system implementations and upgrades, including accounting and finance ERPs.
Responsibilities
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
- Prepare balance sheet and P&L reconciliations
- Prepare and record journal entries
- Record invoices and support the order-to-pay cycle
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements in line with US GAAP
- Support treasury activities as needed
- Assist in preparing audit support and responding to auditor requests
- Support system implementations and upgrades, including accounting and finance ERPs
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1-2 years of relevant accounting experience
- CPA or progress toward CPA preferred
- Experience supporting financial reporting and close cycles preferred
- Experience in SaaS, software, or financial services environments preferred
- Strong attention to detail with a hands-on, proactive approach
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience with accounting/finance ERP (SAGE) systems highly desirable
