Accounting Associate with AI Skills

Job Summary

We are looking for a versatile and detail-oriented Accounts, HR / Admin Executive to be the operational backbone of our team. In this combined role, you will manage our day-to-day financial operations alongside human resources and office administration functions — ideal for a hands-on professional who thrives in a lean, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Finance

• Manage full sets of accounts including AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliation.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.

• Handle GST filing, liaise with IRAS and Tax Agent.

• Ensure compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).

• Coordinate with external auditors and support annual audit processes.

• Maintain fixed assets register and support budgeting and forecasting exercises.

HR & Administration

• Manage employee leave, time attendance and HR records.

• Assist with recruitment: job postings, candidate screening, interview scheduling and onboarding.

• Draft HR letters, policies and staff communications.

• Manage office administration: supplies, vendor liaison, and general office upkeep.

• Support employee engagement, training coordination, and welfare activities.

Job Requirement

• Diploma or degree in Accountancy, Business Administration, HR Management, or equivalent.

• Minimum 3 years of experience handling both accounting and HR/admin functions.

• Comfortable using AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Excel Copilot, Claude) to speed up reconciliations, draft reports, and support HR/admin correspondence.

• Familiarity with AI-enabled accounting features (e.g. Xero's AI-assisted bank reconciliation and invoice capture) is an advantage.

• Willingness to learn and adopt new AI-powered productivity tools to improve accounting and HR/admin workflows.

Competencies

• Solid knowledge of SFRS, GST, corporate tax, MOM Employment Act, and CPF regulations.

• Experience with accounting software Xero preferred.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

• Meticulous, organised, able to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Discreet in handling confidential information with a high degree of integrity.

• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
