Accounting Clerk

Join our team as an Accounting Clerk, where you'll primarily perform clerical work in support of the organization's accounting functions to keep things running smoothly. In this role you'll process customer payments, freight payouts to maintaining accurate records and resolving billing discrepancies, while gaining hands-on experience across multiple accounting functions in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
A. AR Functions

• Enter billing charges into a TMS software & necessary transmittal systems
• Prepare & combine supporting documents with billing remittance
• Apply received payments accurately
• Review aging reports and perform collection efforts when needed

B. AP Functions

• Processing all payouts for freight services daily
• Record and process business expenditure receipts
• Perform Industry standard reporting

C. Other

• Express and demonstrate ability and willingness to perform other clerical duties if and when needed
• Willingness to assist and cross-train in any of accounting functions needed
• Ability to prioritize, analyze and resolve any issues/ discrepancies occur
